    Description

    NEW Opek HVT-600
    Multi-band HF-VHF Outbacker style Mobile Antenna. Provides multi-band 80m through 2m operation in a lightweight (18oz) single 1/4 wavelength vertical antenna. A low-profile design without traps for use with standard UHF SO-239 magnetic or trunk mount base. Features a 3/4in diameter multi-tap helical winding base. To change bands simply plug into the desired tap. No need to change whips or resonators. Adjustable top whip for easy tuning for the selected band. Supports 10 bands 3.7MHz(80m), 7.05MHz(40m), 10.1MHz(30m), 14.15MHz(20m), 18.2MHz(17m), 21.1MHz(15m), 24.95MHz(12m), 28.5MHz(10m), 50.5MHz(6m), and 146MHz(2m).
    The HVT-600 is a cost effective alternative to the  screwdriver antenna. Multi-tap base with PL-259 connector measures 27in in length. Top whip adjustable between 27 and 45in. Overall length varies between 58in (2m band) and 64in (80m band). Unity Gain (0 dBd). Rated transmit power 200W. The base of the antenna is a male PL259 and therefore requires a SO-239 (UHF female) mount. This antenna does
