Early Kathe Kruse toddler girl doll

Description

Here is an early Kathe Kruse toddler girl with painted head and cloth body. She appears to be pre WWII from what I can ascertain from the internet. I collect dolls but not cloth so I am not an expert on these. She has a very cute face with seamed head, oil painted features and gray blue eyes. There is wear from being loved. Body has sewn on arms with separate thumbs but stitched fingers and stitched toes. Legs have disc joints in hips. Foot is marked Kathe Kruse with a number that I can't really make out. It is there though. That foot has a tear on the inner ankle that I did not attempt to repair for fear of doing more damage. She wears original underwear and darling green fair isle knitted dress with buttons in back. I added a pair of older black knit socks and leather boots. Please email with questions.
