    Description

    This auction is for a premium quality rare and unused original vintage Vietnam era fighting and hunting knife made between 1961 and 1976 with the original leather sheath, marked on the blade guard: WESTERN - U.S.A. - W49 - This classic knife has a hardwood handle grip, large brass blade guard, and a near razor sharp clip point Bowie full tang carbon steel blade with a polished mirror finish. The blade has some very minor little faint blemishes but has never been used and overall is still in excellent condition for approx. 50 years old. The sheath has very minor storage wear, also unused, and overall is also in excellent condition. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. The knife measures 14 3/4" with a 9 1/2" blade and in the sheath the weight is 1 lb. 10 oz.
